Septorhinoplasty and chin augmentation before and after: deviated septum and receding chin, young woman

Rhinoplasty and Mentoplasty - Case # 82000

A young woman with mandibular retrognathia, a receding chin, and a deviated septum. I corrected both in the same operation: an ultrasonic septorhinoplasty to straighten the septum and improve the nasal profile, and chin augmentation with an implant through an intraoral incision, with no visible scar. General anaesthesia, two and a half hours, recovery in 15 days. The photos show the balanced profile: straight dorsum and projected chin. More about this surgery on the chin augmentation page.

  • Techniques: Chin Augmentation through implant placement and Ultrasound Rhinoseptoplasty to improve nose appearance.
  • Scars: oral.
  • Surgery performed under general anesthesia and took 2.5h.
  • Recovery period: 15 days.

Before & After photos were disclosed with the patient’s authorization for demonstration purposes. Surgery results depend on the personal characteristics before surgery.
