Allow me to introduce myself: I am Dr. Marco Romeo, a plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon, and I am pleased to welcome you to the website drmarcoromeo.com.
I was born in Sicily, Italy, where I obtained my degrees in medicine and plastic surgery. I then embarked on an advanced training period that took me to various parts of the world, including Scotland, where I trained at the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow (United Kingdom), the MC Hospital in Rotterdam (Netherlands), the Montreux Clinic in Switzerland, and several countries in Latin America, such as Mexico and Colombia. These travels not only enriched my professional experience but also allowed me to learn up to five different languages and develop remarkable mental flexibility, an invaluable quality in my field.
My life took a new turn in 2010 when I moved to Spain. Here, I have spent half of my adult life, established my home and family, and built my successful professional career. For several years, I focused on reconstructive surgery, paying special attention to breast cancer patients and performing microsurgery interventions at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and the Fundación Jiménez Díaz.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to operate in various locations, including the Balearic Islands, Barcelona, Dubai, and Italy. In these places, I established two Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Units as well as an Aesthetic Medicine Unit, collaborating with other distinguished professionals. I currently treat patients from all over Spain and different parts of the world in Madrid.
In recent years, my focus has been on rhinoplasty, where I have introduced ultrasonic and preservation techniques to achieve visible yet natural results. Additionally, I have refined the deep plane technique for facial lifting. I have a natural passion for teaching in the operating room and am dedicated to educating future generations of surgeons. For this reason, in 2021, I founded the Interactive Aesthetic Fellowship program, which allows young surgeons from around the world to come to my operating room to learn the most advanced techniques and the management of a private practice.
Today, I continue to organize courses and congresses focused on facial and nose surgery. Romeo Aesthetic Group represents my latest and perhaps most ambitious project to date. In this group, I have brought together a team of plastic surgeons, each specialized in a specific area of aesthetic plastic surgery. This allows us to offer the most innovative concepts and achieve the best possible results, always in pursuit of naturalness.
