A patient who wanted a better profile: she had a high hump and a wide dorsum, with a slightly drooping tip. I performed an open ultrasonic rhinoplasty under general anaesthesia as day surgery: she went home the same day and with no nasal packing, which is what patients fear most before surgery. The scar sits in the columella and she was back to normal life after a week. The photos, at 9 months, show a straight, narrower dorsum and a slightly lifted tip.
