If you cannot come in person, a video consultation<\/strong> is available. It is a way for us to meet, answer your questions and point you in the right direction before you take any step; the examination and the final decision always happen in person. I listen to you, examine you and give you my opinion on your case. The consultation lasts around 30 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I start by listening: what concerns you, what you would like to change and what you expect from the result. Then I examine you. With that, I tell you what I would do in your case and why, and also what I would not do.<\/p>\n

In plastic surgery there are almost always several techniques for the same problem, and it is normal to arrive having read or heard a great deal. Ask me anything you like: my job in this consultation is to help you separate what is right for you from what is not.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the answer is surgery. Sometimes it is a different treatment from the one you had in mind. And sometimes it is not to have surgery at all, because what you are looking for cannot be achieved with an operation or because the risk is not worth it. If that is the case, I will tell you.<\/p>\n

When the indication is clear, I explain the operation in detail: how I perform it, what the recovery involves and what result it is realistic to expect. Where possible, we do a digital simulation so that you can see what we are talking about.<\/p>\n

A clear opinion on your case, answers to the questions you came with, and a fixed written quote<\/strong> that includes the consultation, the operating theatre, the anaesthesia and the follow-up appointments.<\/p>\n

You do not have to decide anything that day. If you need it, the quote can be financed up to \u20ac10,000, with an answer within 24 to 48 hours. How payment works is explained in Financing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The price of the consultation may be higher for medical emergencies, second opinions on recently operated cases and revision surgery.<\/p>\n
